Your privacy is very important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the DVFTowbars.co.uk website, a trading name of Devon Valley Fabrications.
Any data collected, including, but not limited to, your names, email addresses and contact numbers are used solely in the provision of photographic services, are stored securely on a externally hosted purpose built database. As part of providing you with fabrication services, we may also share your details with third parties related to your requirements.
In the case of an initial enquiry we will ask for details including your name(s), email address, phone number and project requirements in order to provide a quote and an indication of availability. This will be stored for an initial period of 6 months in order to respond to enquiries promptly and to best serve potential clients.
In the case of a confirmed sale, as part of the contract between both parties, we will request certain information, including your mailing address, your purchase details (including time, date and cost, and VAT status),
your calls and correspondence with us and your signature in addition to the above.
We may also collect, and our third party providers of advertisements and content may collect, information about where you are on the internet (e.g. the URL you came from, IP address, domain types like co.uk and .com), your browser type, the country and telephone area code where your computer is located, the pages of our website that were viewed during your visit, the advertisements you clicked on, and any search terms that you entered on our website (“User Information”). We may collect this information even if you do not contact us.
We use your information only for the following purposes:

The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself/company when making an enquiry or placing an order only to manufacture the product, confirm delivery and installation of site or the product/service we are to supply. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that process.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Finally, you should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information we are entitled do so.
Storage/Use Of Images
In order to deliver the comprehensive coverage seen within this website, it is also necessary that we store images of your projects, as both jpg and RAW files on secure storage. These are stored separately from your full names and other data, and the two are never associated. Where these images are backed up/taken off site they will always be in an encrypted form with a strong password. Again, as part of delivering fabrications services to you and future clients we may also use images created in our portfolios, literature, competitions, exhibitions and advertising.

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data
We may keep your details on record for as long as it is necessary to meet record keeping requirements. We hold financial, legal and HMRC records for seven years. They are then deleted in accordance with data protection and other applicable legislation. Information relating to projects and ideas will be kept indefinitely, for the purpose of giving opportunities in future projects.

We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time in order to reflect changes in the law.
Right To Access
You are able to request, on demand, all data that Devon Valley Fabrications, as a business, holds on you. This will be provided as an electronic report.
